Hi I'm Tyler, I'm playing for the Glasgow Kelvin football team.
I'm currently involved in the football team and during one of my classes we are doing an eight week block of different extracurricular activities.
We've been to do CrossFit training, we're going to water sports soon to do kayaking and I believe basketball soon on the list as well.
It's good, even though we're on a football course, it's good to go out and get involved in other activities, learn how they're different, prepare physically, because I think that's the class that we're doing it in. So no, it's good, it's very enjoyable.
Definitely teamwork, different sports, different demands. Learning about different sports demands is very good. Learning to work with, we've merged our classes together this year with adventure, so kind of learning, working with new students is always good.
It's really good, especially the football team. Last year, having loads of different people come from different courses into one group, especially when it came to the end of the year, the national finals, we kind of felt a real sense of team, sense of community, so it was really good. Definitely some of the more fitness-related ones further away in terms of football.
Definitely a demanding sport.
I just think it adds to the college experience, I would say. Especially for us, even when we're in class, we're talking about the football games being on the Wednesdays and just being excited to get to the games and stuff. So it helps you keep a real focus on your studies as well.
